Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to complete my estate plan?

Most people finish the questionnaire in about 20 minutes. After you submit, a Montana attorney reviews your documents within two business days. Then you schedule a 15-minute video notarization at a time that works for you. Start to finish, most plans are done within a week.

Do I need to visit an office in person?

No. Montana Will & Trust is entirely online. You complete the questionnaire from home, your documents are reviewed remotely by a Montana attorney, and you sign via remote online notarization on a video call. No office visit required, no matter where you live in Montana.

What if my situation is too complex for an online plan?

We’ll tell you. Our intake process is designed to identify complex estates—blended families, business succession, significant tax exposure, special needs trusts—and route you to a licensed Montana estate planning attorney in our network. No pressure, no referral fee to you.
